As we are nearing the time of the fly-in, I thought I'd post a reminder.
My suggestion is to meet in the "Pilots Mess" restaurant on the airfield as I can guarantee good service and free Coffee and Tea for Commander owners that day, as I have just taken over the business.

Thanks to everyone who came to the fly-in at Sywell yesterday and great to see some new faces from across the North Sea.
The poor weather forecast for yesterday probably limited the numbers a bit but luckily the Met was up to its usual standard and we had a bright rain free morning and early afternoon with good visibility.
Even though (due to lack of a chef, I spent the day in the kitchen, it was great to see you all and the suggestion of organising a fly-in on the continent seemed to have support.
Hopefully, Rob will be along in a minute to post the photographs.

Thanks for everything yesterday Lawrence, the food was lovely and the free tea went down a treat, it's a shame the weather restricted the numbers but looking forward to the next get together.

The Pilots' Mess is great with an authentic and efficient feel. The art deco style of the whole place is very appealing. Shame about the weather though. It was good to meet you Finn. I have some photos and will get round to posting them asap.
Did anyone get a pic of that chef who was wandering around calling himself a pilot ? ;-)
