Anyone flying into KLAL April 21-26 for spring break? I will be there 20th to 23rd, if anyone wants to grab lunch,

I going to try (wx permitting - consideration for camping not flying) for mid morning arrival on the 24th and depart after the Sat show on the 25th.

We will be there 24-26 staying at the HGI on the Feild haven't decided if I flying to just driving it's only an 2hr drive

Trying to make this a cool trip for my dad. As he has yet to even see the commander, let alone fly to FL in it. Anyone know of a cool and, or easy/cheap overnight spot in between Jersey and Georgia. thanks!

We plan to fly 77J into KLAL for the day on the 24th.

Well I made it to VT and to winter haven about 15 miles from Lakeland.. All without a hitch........ Until short final. One green! In transit light on and pump running continuously! Got the shop looking at it. Little nervous as they just jumped on the fact that hyd fluid was low as they were looking in the brake reservoir. FYI neither brake or pump had low fluid. And no leaks present. 1)thinking oring in actuator or check valve. Any ideas? Just in case I am missing something. Serves me right, I was in BTV and didn't see Jim!! 2) anyone have any knowledge of propeller head aviation in winter haven? Hope all is well

@ Lakeland A/C Maint. 863-456-9525. He has maintained a 114B and a 112 for several years and working on a '95 for us right now.

It looks like the majority will be there on the 24th. Do you think we should try and pick a place and time to meet that day to say Hello? Any ideas?

Sorry, I probably should start a new thread.. But I'm still headed to SnF so what the heck! Does anyone in the central FL area have a shop that carries a hyd pump for '76 114. Waiting on a call back from Lakeland and Bartow shops, but thought I'd ask.

Judi thanks so much! I have shaun looking into it now. It has been quite interesting getting it to him while everyone is setting up for SnF. Will keep you updated.
