Just checking if anyone in the UK/Channel Islands subscribe. I fly 114B, GHPSF and look forward to hearing from anyone with experience of flying in Scotland. I wish to undertake a tour from Guernsey routing Blackpoll, Inverness, Orkney and Shetland and any other airfields considered worth visiting in the locale. Many thanks Russell

This sounds exotic. Just out of curiosity, do you European pilots have satellite NAV like FlyQ or Foreflight?

Hi Russell; you're that exotic black B in Guernsey heaven.

Originally I'm from Southampton, UK. I visit home at least once a year... If you ever need anything brought over from Canada/US lemme know. If I can transit anything for you in my hand luggage rather than you paying nuts shipping to the UK I'm all for it! Never flew there as Pilot as I learned here in Canada but its on my list of places to fly! Greenland, Iceland, Azores and home to Blighty! Its on my bucket list! Although the National ATC system and GA Use and Service costs seems little bonkers to me. GA this side of the Atlantic seems a lot more friendly!

I was a Policeman in the UK and had the luck to jump in the back seat of the Hampshire Police Surveillance Aircraft a few times! They had a Britten Norman Islander called "Boxer One Zero". Flew out of Lee on Solent and gave exceptional views of the IOW and the coast! The NATS Swanwick Centre was in my patrol area and we used to have to patrol it as a counter terrorism measure. Fun times! It's what first sparked my interest in flying many years ago!

Welcome back to the group!

Check in with Rob Rother in the Edinburgh area. Commander driver and well familiar with the North. Also flying a sweet Siai Marchetti at last call.
