Here's a list of my available inventory:

32 Late model gas spring door stay kits.

35 Early model gas spring door stay kits.

27 Baggage door gas spring door stay kits

22 Main gear landing light bracket kits.

Thanks Carl. Maybe I’ll start another thread, as I am looking for recommendations on what landing lights are best to go with your main gear landing light brackets. I didn’t have time to install before Oshkosh, but my annual is in two months and that’s the time to get them installed. Also, the gas door springs are awesome!

Any more work on the cowling? I would love a light weight slick carbon fiber cowling!

How do I know if I have the wing root fairings installed already ? (Besides checking logbook entries)

Definitely don’t have these. I have what appears to be rubber there - black.
What material are these .?
good for 5 knots ? Known benefits if any
how much for the set ?

thx

They originally appeared in the late model Commanders in the late 90's. The Vendor they used to produce them went out of business and the molds were lost. I made new molds and began reproducing them about 5 years ago. They're fiberglass. They make the plane quieter - less wind noise from the air rushing around the fuselage at the base of the wing. And, are much more attractive than the piper style rubber seals.

They're owner produced parts, so you're, essentially, commissioning me to use my molds to make the parts for you. You can read more about it here:

yes i understand. So long as these can be installed by an A&P and not require a paint shop.

I don't see a price anywhere.

Yes, they can be installed by an AP, but do require someone with a fair amount of skill. There's some trimming, sanding, and fitting required, and will need to be painted before final installation. Someone with fiberglass, or home-builder experience is a plus. I can email you the install instructions if you like.

They're $800 for the complete set, main wings, and tail.

For some reason, some browsers edit the pricing and ordering links off of my website. Try Firefox or Edge.

Call if you have questions.

Shane, I installed Carl's main landing gear light kit, amazing quality...I put Aero-Lites SunSetter PLUS Par 36 LED landing/recognition lights in them; I had already replaced my nose and leading edge landing lights with the same bulbs...nice bright white light, lights up the taxiway/runway edge to edge...I have a Pulse Light controller on the wing lights.

Moazzam

Just see if you can hook up with one of the home builders on your field. Anyone building any kind of composite airplanes will have the skills.

ok - someone working for beers then.

Even though it may be cases of wine at the field i am at ..

I still owe you for the exhaust clamp - I tried to ship your bottle of wine to find that that wouldn't work so I thought I'd be able to make it up at the fly-in but I'm in Portugal. I hope to hook up with you one of these days since I owe you!

All good. I want a list of must stay at venues in Portugal and we're even.

Fly-in is a little up in the air for me - my wife flies back from Sweden tomorrow w/ kids. I doubt she'd let me go to the fly-in next week ..

You could leave before she gets home
:D:D:D
Okay might not be worth the pain!
We actually headed over to Seville Spain for a couple of days and we'll be back in Portugal in two or three days.

Joel, are you bringing any wine home from Portugal? We’ve enjoyed some Portuguese reds recently. However, it is so reasonably priced here it wouldn’t be worth the effort to haul it home , unlike some Brunellos or some Bordeaux’s.
