with him in Chicago and me in Detroit, it was too tricky to do in the Commander. We tried. But he learned in a REMOS and wow, that was fun. I flew with him and I was officially "Pilot in Command," of course, but he did absolutely everything from start to finish. He is quite good with the Commander, but the insurance will probably make him do 10 hours with someone who does not know the plane 1/10 as well as he does. But they have to be sure, I understand that. Anyone have a CFI with good Commander knowledge in Chicago area? I will have to check out the CFI first though!
