Too bad he didn't date it .. but my flight in N976MA from KCDW -> KFWN for the Sussex Airshow was on 8/25/2001 ..
I also have a log item in my logbook - the first and last time i left my master switch on. Had to be hand-propped to get it started again ..

Since then i always leave the Beacon turned on. So i know the master is on ..

Good idea about leaving the beacon on. I left my battery switch on a few years ago - my mom still never let's me forget that we had to use HER car to jump start my plane. She actually loved being in the middle of the process too so it was funny.

I was a volunteer at the Sussex Air Shows from 1984 till around 2004 and if memory serves me correct, Hoover was flying an Aerostar. This was also the home of Leo Loudenslager - World Champion Aerobatics I believer 1980. My beacons are always on for the very same reason.

Joe - my memory is hazy on what he was flying that day ..

i dug into my pictures from 2001 .. found the stolen cub routine diving for my commander.

Found a twin otter but haven't found a shrike or aerostar. i'll look in my raw images
