New 115 owner!

Hi All - Really excited about taking ownership of a 2000 115 commander. About to ferry it from KMKY to KSQL with a CFI in a week or so. First plane other than a 172 I will have flown. Just wanted to say hi, I’m sure I’ll have lots to ask and read as a new owner!

Quite a jump seems like an understatement! This is my father in laws plane and he hung up his wings. We were in the market so figured why not? I did join COG but still figuring it all out. Looking forward.

Good ol' San Carlos! Anyone visiting California should fly in there once. Coming from the south I'd always fly out over 1/2 Moon Bay and come in from the west. Back then I'd always fly between 9 and 12kft, so was fun to dive in over the coastal range - always a blast.
