McKinney is doing it right in terms of how to build an airport. KADS is full and has too many students. Dallas is in the process of putting a landing fee on Love to show general aviation the door.

The obvious winner in this is KTKI.

I believe the new terminal building and hangar are for the existing (city-owned) FBO. At least that's what they are telling us (local pilots based at KTKI). The city-owned FBO has been a HUGE success. They've come in either first or second in every one of the surveys done over the past few years. Likewise, the KTKI Tower crew has been in the top of the national ratings as well. McKinney, TX is a great place to call "home"!

Dont forget about KRBD :) 2 runways, 2 FBOs, a great restaurant, hangars available :) 8 minutes from downtown and uptown dallas

Yeah, but nobody REALLY goes to Dallas anymore... All the "happening" stuff in in the north side (Allen, McKinney, Frisco)...

Just kidding, Jared. KRBD is a very nice place, and hangars are probably cheaper there (or should I say "less expensive" – because no hangars around here are "cheap"). It's just a long, long way from Farmersville.
