We should consider making this a destination for a fly-in gathering of Commanders in the spring or early summer.

Was exactly the case for the Great Lakes fly out a few years back. About time for another one. Want to be careful to make it late Spring. Wx up there can still be "frisky" earlier in Spring.

If this is going to be a real plan for mid to late May. Then Scott- set a date period. I am fully obligated June 7th-22nd. We have talked for decades about visiting Mackinac area. A Commander flyin would be a wonderful way! And No 112HT is dreaming of escaping 'The Fridge of all Fridges'!!!

Tim, mid to late May up there is "iffy." You have beautiful days for sure and might get lucky , but you can have some damn chilly ones. June July or August are better. And great times to escape the summer heat of the south and big cities almost everywhere.
