Hello everyone. My name is Bernd Richardt and I am based out of Kenora, Ontario (CYQK). I fly a 1975 Commander 112, registration CG-GXG, which has been my pride and joy since I bought it in 1993. This looks like a great organization to become a part of.

Re: Hello from Northwestern Ontario

Welcome to the board! You are right, it's a great group for Commander owners!

Welcome... How could you exist all these years without COG?

I hope your future aircraft dealings will be enhanced by our organization... The membership here can provide much information and expertise about the Commander line, which can save you money, time and heartache... We don't know it all; but there's a wealth of information here for the asking. If you haven't already, make sure you join as a full member, then search all your questions in the Members Forums. If you don't find the answer there; ASK and ye shall receive.

Best regards,
Alan

Dear Bernd,

You have joined a great bunch that have tremendous collaboration on matters regarding our wonderful planes.

May the May black flies in Ontario disappear quickly .

Hi Richard, welcome to the group and amazing that you just found us ! There are enough Canadians ( and a 1/100th Canadian - Scott ) here on the group to keep it 'International' :-) and an absolutely priceless wealth of experience and knowledge.

You got questions ? We have answers ! WELCOME ! Tony

Re: Hello from Northwestern Ontario

Thanks to all for the warm welcome.

No risk of blackflies for a while; we still have at least 3 feet of ice on the lake.

Any news on the new Commander factory?

Re: Hello from Northwestern Ontario

Welcome aboard Bernard. As Tony mentioned we have a gaggle of Commanders in Canada and the group is very active helping fellow Commander owners with problems, parts, etc. If you make it down to Toronto, don't hesitate to look me up.

Re: Hello from Northwestern Ontario

Welcome and yes, this is a great group with invaluable information. The pool is real deep!

Re: Hello from Northwestern Ontario

Bernd, not much news. Apparently there is little (or no) activity there. Someone recently dropped in and one of the new folks answered the door but little said and apparently Ms. Mao is still in China working on her VISA for the US.

Re: Hello from Northwestern Ontario

Adger ... indeed the pool is deep, both in knowledge and in BS! Gets especially deep just a few miles south of you!

Re: Hello from Northwestern Ontario

watch it Sedam!!!!!!!!!!!!lol

Re: Hello from Northwestern Ontario

Hi Richard. Thanks to these characters, still learning after 25 yrs of Commander ownership and "do it myself" (under 'supervision' annuals & upgrades..
As stated-wealth of knowledge ! Never hesitate to ask anything!
