Hello from NC

I recently found about the Commander 114 and very impressed. Anyone in Fayetteville or Wilmington NC area that would let me take a look at the Commander? I am in the market for a new plane and this seems to fit the mission perfectly.

Re: Hello from NC

Hi Byron; I know of (2) 114s within 100-150 mi. fm Fayetteville, but both may not yet be done w/maint. and upgrading.
Guy Maher is in Cleveland, NC; long time proponent, former 112TCA owner and CAC rep., CFI-II, and all-around Commander extraordinaire.
he may hv a good option for you there. His banner and contact info. is in the Marketplace section on COG homepage.

Hi Byron,

Nice to have you on board - and thanks Judi for your kind words. Unfortunately, the only Commander on my field is one that has sat dormant for at least the 20 years I've been at the airport - and I know it's been longer than that. It's a 112TC-A that is a flat tire, bird sanctuary sad sack. I tried to buy it twice but the owner declined saying the usual, "I plan on getting it back into thte air." Horrible. There are a number of Commanders in North and South Carolina so maybe you'll get a few good responses.

But having worked for Rockwell Commander back in the late 70's, plus having previously owned 3 different 112TC-A's and a 114A, I'd be more than happy to field a call or if you feel like driving up to Statesville, I'd be happy to meet you and answer any questions if you can't find a more convenient option. Or even if you do, you are still welcome to visit or call. You are targeting a fantastic airplane.

Guy
