Hello From Canyon Lake TX

What a great weekend! On 11/21 I flew to California and picked up my new 112A (N1292J). I met the seller, Mr. Lew Jennings who spent many months bringing this pretty lady (STAR is her name) back to life. I also met Mr. Earl Hibler who introduced me to some great folks at KWHD who love their planes and flying. Topping off the entire weekend, was flying back to Texas with Earl who provided a great education on the airplane and how to take care of her. Her new base is now at KBAZ.

We need to coordinate a time, prefer not to attempt a Friday timeframe if we go to Fredericksburg, it was absolute NUTS flying around that area Friday. Flew around 12:30 at Kerrville, and there were 25-30 planes that came in/left during my one hour flight. The frequency was jammed most of the time.
