Hello, new member to your site and hopefully a new Commander owner within the next few months. Currently own a Mooney M20F and a Grumman AA5A and looking to downsize to the perfect aircraft for my needs. I've beed intrigued by Commanders for many years and have decided it's time to let the others go and move forward. Looking forward to talking with Judy to see if she can help me find the "perfect" 114.

Regards,
Dan.....

Hi Dan; Welcome aboard. you've come to the right place fm start to finish. All the guys are very helpful /able to help answer everything you need to know on care and ownership. a few even former Grumman owners. : - )

Nice to see you work for L3, too!

Welcome fellow Tenneesser. I am based out of Savannah TN. Maybe someday our paths will cross. Good luck on your hunt and if you need anything please let me know.

Dan,

Welcome to the group.

Judi is a wealth of knowledge on the fleet. Good luck on your search.

There's only one advantage to a Commander over your two current birds - cabin space. You'll miss the speed of the Mooney and the lighter controls and lower costs of the Grumman. If your mission has changed and you need/want more room and the pilot-side door, a Commander will fit the bill. Seems like you have the perfect stable now, though: a speedster and a beautiful-handling sportster.

Welcome aboard Dan. Pretty strange way for you and I to finally communicate.
