Had a great time in CA last month.

The Bay shore Tour/Flight was a busy time flight-wise with traffic and ATC - but - really worth it.

After that though, went north to Healdsburg. Mazzocco Winery is about 2 blocks up the hill from the airport. So what better thing to do than fly up, walk to the winery, my sister could do a tasting (I already knew they had amazing zins) eat a light snack, walk back and fly to Napa.

The last image is from the walk back with the airport sign on the left and a caution low flying airplanes on the right - the resolution isn't good enough to read in these pics.

Was just beautiful and I highly recommend it.

That patio looks inviting!

NAPA is a great airport and the surrounding area is very interesting. Been there about 5 or 6 times.

Wow - I lived in California most of my life and have always wanted to go there. I have flown over it a dozen times and never stopped. I guess I will have to put it on my to do list for this summer.

Thanks for the photos

Wow .. looks like fun. For those on the eastern side of the country, check out Peele Island (just North of Cleveland). Great wineries (not like Napa though). A great destination, with bike rentals and a some great restaurants (small island, so there's not a lot of restaurants to begin with).
