Nice formation flyout to Columbus, IN (KBAK) today. Fun had by all and the tower even thanked us for landing in formation. Hope to see a few more birds on the ramp tomorrow. We”re still trying to track down Sean Long. Noted his plane at the airport; but he remains MIA up to now.

Weather is gorgeous. Looks like the reduced numbers this year will modify the annual Best of COG awards normally judged on Saturday. Instead of plaques and bragging rights, we are going to be having “Participation Awards” given to each attending Commander Owner which, thanks to the regional Garmin rep, will be a demonstrator unit GTN750. Expect to have this year’s team photo with big smiles on each driver’s face...

It was great meeting with all of you, I came out to the airport Saturday but did not see you guys, I figured you may have got lost at a happy hour!!!! I will be at the next fly-in. Lots of beautiful commanders on the ramp.

Seven Commanders showed up. Had one King Air gentleman with the group who owned a Commander but flew the big bird in!!
