Re: French Lick Insights
French Lick Plaques
The question was asked about special airplane paint graphics for a plaque. I talked to Karl at KCH.
The time to convert my picture to the laser cutting program for the Commander plaque was about 4 hours. The picture used was of a scale model. He went the extra mile to verify the flap and door details so it took a little longer. I meet him at Oshkosh; he has a Piper and likes the Commanders that is why he spent the extra time. He recommends using a model because, it is possible to get a photo angle/position that is hard to do in flight or on the ground.
To remove all paint graphics is not a lot of work. And if you have a picture of other graphics at exactly the same angle and position, the new graphics can be added. But anything else would be a start over.
The words, name and N# are easy to change in the program.
