Here is the Black Friday Deal, plus info on the new 4.0 version. The integration of a fully functional logbook is a huge plus, plus a lot of other goodies. Integrated W&B coming shortly:
Thank you so much for being a Lifetime customer! Everyone at Seattle Avionics appreciates your business and support -- a lot!
I'm writing to you today for two reasons:
1. Our Black Friday sale is in-progress now. Of course, as a Lifetime customer, there isn't much we can sell you. However, we're mentioning this because it includes two great deals that your friends might like: 1) A Lifetime subscription of their own for either $299 (VFR) or $449 (VFR + IFR) or 2) An even better deal - a new Buddy Pack of 3 Lifetime subscriptions where the price per Lifetime comes down to just over $300 (VFR + IFR)! Your friends can buy using this link:

With FlyQ EFB 4.0 (see below), there is also a nice benefit to YOU by having your friends use FlyQ -- the new integrated, private social media network. Unlike Facebook or whatever, this is for pilots only -- no cat videos, no politics, no pictures of what someone ate for dinner. Rather, you can instantly see what great flights your friends are taking and discuss why they didn't ask you to come along
2. We just announced FlyQ EFB 4.0 / FlyQ Online 2.0. As you may know, these new versions focus on one of the most common feature requests we have -- adding a logbook (a visual logbook, actually). In doing so, we wanted to make it truly incredible so began by integrating it with the Flight Recorder so the app can automatically make logbook entries (which you can edit, of course). You can even import from other systems or manually type new entries. Not only that, it has an integrating mapping system to visually show your flights and produces useful and beautiful reports and graphs. Perhaps best of all, it builds on the existing support we have for in-panel systems like Dynon and Avidyne to collect engine and performance data so the logbook can also produce extremely helpful tables and graphs showing engine temperature, fuel flow, outside air temperature, and much more. Have a look at the new logbook video.
FlyQ EFB 4.0 also includes an optional private social network for pilots. This makes it easy to automatically follow and discuss flights with your friends. It's especially useful for CFIs and Student pilots because the CFIs can instantly see and track student flights and, with a couple of clicks, even add Endorsements.
This caps a very strong year of releases for us including:
• Our incredibly popular Buddy List (highlights your friends' planes when looking at ADS-B traffic)
• Adding automatic fuel stops based on lowest prices
• Our time-saving Slingshot wireless ChartData system for in-panel systems
• Automatic ATC IFR routing
• Full Leidos integration (so you can click a text message to close a flight, for example)
• Mexican and Central American charts and maps
• Animated radar
• Massive battery life improvements (more than 200% better)
• Huge leaps in stability and performance, and more.
Of course, much more is to come. Up next are other common requests like Weight and Balance, more weather products, audible alerts and other safety features, more connectivity with in-panel systems (including more Slingshot-enabled devices), and much more.
And, as always, we're very interested in your suggestions and feedback. While it may not be possible for me to write back to everyone who writes to me, I definitely read and consider every email I get.
I hope you're enjoying the Thanksgiving break and wish you a very happy holiday season!
Sincerely,
Steve Podradchik
