Finally made the leap..I took ownership of my 112 yesterday. Flying her back from New Ulm MN to N07.
Made a fuel and food stop at Marine City and meet COG member Tom Gill (N703TG). I would have stayed longer and asked a ton of questions but we were in a bit of a rush. The second leg of the trip was IMC and the 112 handled very nicely.
Hope to meet many of you guys and I hope you don't mind all the questions that follow.

Re: Finally..

Congratualtions on your new 112! Glad to hear the plane handled so nicely on your trip home! Enjoy it!

Re: Finally..

Marcelo - i saw your bird tied down at N07 today (was there for lunch).
Had to cancel my post-maint check flight today (leaking gascolator). I was wondering if that was yours.

Ps. My cell number has changed. Will PM.

Re: Finally..

Moazzam-

Im going to fly my other airplane to 47N to free up my spot for this plane.
I dont know what took me so long to fly one of these planes but Im glad I made the right choice.

Drop me a line.

Re: Finally..

Moazzam,

Do you know of an airport with an IFR approach and fuel that would be closest to Mays Landing?

Re: Finally..

KMIV. Millville. I 've never flown in there but its got a 6000 foot runway and ILS approaches.

Thanx Moazzam,

That's the airport I usually fly into when visiting at Mays Landing. Thought there might be something a little closer.

Not yet , I have a group of CFI's that want to rent her to train future pilot's.
If that becomes a hassle then she goes.
