FAA captures something other than a bonanza!

Per the above story subject.
Stationed in Korea many years ago and at the Osan AFB they used noise cannons to attempt to scare the birds away. Worked so so . . The U2 flew (maybe still does) out of there when I was stationed at a base further North.
Anyway the story goes that a new USAF COL / base commander invited some of his COL buddies over and they went out with shotguns one weekend and started handling the bird problem their own way. That worked for a short spell until a Korean environmental agency got involved. Turned into a major embarrassment but I don't recall the COL losing his job.

Ha! Yea the Rona has me grounded, but still employed so that's good.took the voluntary leave of absence. My beard game is strong for the first time ever! And kiddo is clearly enjoying flying!
