FAA Banning Lean of Peak, Open Comment Period on Rulemaking

You would have to wonder exactly how they would enforce this....

The status quo is being challenged and the training world is not equipped to address it and the manufacturers (particularly engines) would rather not address it if they don't have to. Having said that, proper LOP operations is best done with a well tuned fuel injected engine (balanced injectors) with the proper engine monitoring equipment.

I think Aero News wrote the article to put some humor in the wake of the corona virus tension and see how many pilots are active on the internet.
