Darwin must have had the week off ... you will not believe this one

wow - an amazing sequence of really bad decisions

I read about this on another forum which had stopped at his ditching. It didn't have the "pilot's" commentary - but - wow. There are so many bad decisions, that you wonder how he made it through life prior to this series of events, incidents and accidents.

Glad he is alive - and glad/hope he never is PIC again.

This disproves the 'no old bold pilots' theory..... !

His worst decision was going to the hospital! He should have had them drive him directly to the nearest convenience store, so he could buy a lottery ticket. The son-of-a-bitch would be a multimillionaire right now!

Glad that he's alive. But a story about how not to buy and aircraft and ferry it home.

Go read the comments on Kathryn's Report

"And the experience was so traumatic, he doesn't see himself piloting an airplane again."

Thank Christ!!!

Mike

You can’t make this stuff up!!

I don’t have the link handy, but the seller of the plane put a rebuttal in his ad about dealing with the buyer. At least he was solo during the events.
