My first airborne rainbow! I kept on pointing it out to Lana and couldn't understand why she was not seeing it. Then I realized, she was wearing polarized sunglasses.

I was going to post a photo of the 42 knot headwinds I’ve encountered Sunday and Tuesday, but then I realized that they aren’t cool. Sometimes it’s hard to catch a break!

Doug, is that a HUD up there?

We had no idea that it snowed and the wind blew in Arizona, Us flatlanders from South Georgia thought folks moved to Arizona for the good weather.

That 80 knot head wind really messes up your fuel calculations, Nowhere to divert between us and KSJN

Life is a barrel of fun.

Ken

Way cool- I took a plane out of Maui once
( Cherokee ), Flew it around the island and landed it at Molokai. Did a Pitts around Kauai - both very memorable experiences. Especially when you're from Arizona.

Thanks for posting Judi!
Happy Independence Day everybody!

Judi that was a great pic. I was just there not too long ago.
