Hello everyone, I just landed at KAVO for an overnight stay, flew in from KOUN. Seems I blew a brake line today. I have a very limited amount of tools with me, and certainly no brake lines or hoses. I'll look into the problem in the morning as it was dark when i landed. Can anyone recommend someone to help in the area? Thanks

Seems I'm in need of a 46136-43 hose. And thanks again Judi.

Which hose was it that broke on you, The lower hose to the caliper or the hose up in the wheel well at the pivot point?

Thanks for the response - I have changed the lower ones but I guess it's time to consider doing the upper ones so I don't find myself in your situation. Good luck getting it fixed.

Certainly something to look into doing before needing it.

Also, if anyone has had this hose made, do you remember the size, length and fittings? Thanks

Alex .. I used Palm Beach Aircraft Services many years ago to do some work on the Commander. They had (have) a lot of knowledge. 561-963-8111. Located not too far from you at KLNA (Lantana Airport) just south of Palm Beach. Not doubt, Judi will have more current info.

Hope this helps.

Thank you Phil.

Does anyone remember the size of the hoses used for the brakes? I may have found a solution, but unsure on the hose diameters, and no way yo measure it accurately.

If still in need. Call Neil at Heart of Florida Aviation 863-677-6341 he just moved to Avon Park a few months ago. Has done plenty of work on my Commander. Mark
