Re: Australian Fly In.

The fly away is evolving all the time! The station can cater for more than 17, however above that number have to bring their own tent/airmattress etc.
Our hosts will still provide full catering etc. for those that may be in their own tent accomodation.
Station tours etc. have been arranged as part of our activities during our stay.
To help with the station catering, please arrange your own alchahol(bring with you), and they will provide the fridge. All other drinks are available on site.

Remember, landing beside the shearers quarters will also allow us to do plenty of aircraft bragg and inspections.

Latest is that we have seven aircraft and one motorcar for the fly in. Listed for discussion is where to next year, try for bigger numbers with more lead time etc.

Re: Australian Fly In.

G'day Rob! Wish I could be there. Looks like I will be in Melbourne for 3 weeks in mid-to-late October on business. Working a week, then off a week, then another week on. With the weekends I will have 9 days off to wander. Have to drive that coast road down to Adelaide. I will definitely get up to see you and your lovely bride.

Great Scott, the coast road is a must do. We have not driven that yet, have flown part of it, however.
Look forward to catching up.

Re: Australian Fly In.

Great weekend just had at Kilcowera Station. Six aircraft made the journey, Peter Sweeney could not make it out of Colac due bad weather.

Prelim homework will be carried out for the next fly away - Hamilton Island. QLD.
Will be looking for the biggest roll up yet. If any of the WA owners frequent this board, we will be mailing you and all owners as details come to hand.
