Hello everyone,

my name is Mark Awad and i live in Fresno Ca.. ive been flying for about 18 years on and off. Recently I have had more time to invest in my passion for flying and after the local outlet for rentals had most of there planes in maintenance i decided that it was time to buy. initially, like most people i wasn't looking for a Commander, but after my first flight I new it was the one. im purchasing a 1977 114 (N260BG) that has been meticulously maintained in southern Ca. I have been stalking the Commander.org website for a few weeks now and have seen a lot of the great support you guys offer and hope to draw on it thru my ownership experience.

Mark:

Welcome aboard - Great to have you !!!

I'm based out of Santa Maria (KSMX) but, if you fly into San Luis Obispo (KSBP), get in touch and we can chat Commander's over lunch.

Once again, Welcome and Enjoy the Ride,

Re: Another new commander owner

Congratulations! I am not much ahead of you - going on my third week as an owner of a 95 Commander 114B. So far, after around 20 hours of flying, my purchase decision has been reaffirmed - solidly. Yours will be too.

Post pictures when you can.

Re: Another new commander owner

Congratulations guys. "You done good!" I passed 17 years of ownership in April, more than 3,000 hours of Commander time, and have never regretted the decision to by N4843W.

Re: Another new commander owner

Congratulations Mark & Stephen,
You guys now have the best travel machine available. I have owned my 114 for 31 years and just returned from a close to 3-week trip to Oshkosh & other parts of the mid-west (30+ flying hours) visiting friends and the comments from folks when we land never gets old. I am sure you guys will enjoy your Commanders.
