This week was the annual strip and wax the hangar. I guess you can call it an adventure after it is done and a few beers.
When I rented the hangar, the landlord had it done. That was for 5 years. Then I bought it 20 years ago.
The old saying, "Sometimes it is better to rent than own."

You have way too much free time.

That's a great looking airplane!!! can you do mine next?? haha.

Did you use the electric buffer so it shines like a grocery store floor?

Very clean, nice.

I have always made sure my plane never saw the inside of Pat’s hangar because I was sure it would never want to leave ;-)

Looking good Pat and keep the shiny side up when landing, I might be out in your area in the next few weeks and will be flying in with Art’s new Malibu and coming home with a TBM 850, and if your around would be great to get together and take for a ride in the Malibu and TBM.

Yes, I use an electric buffer and even then it is a big job.
Paul, I am looking forward to see you again.

Looking forward to seeing you and Betty too, Art is out there next week for the TBM inspection and if all goes well will be out the 2nd week of November to bring the TBM 850 home. We will be flying out in our new Malibu bought this spring to pick up the new plane, and take some flights together in the Malibu which you will love and with full G-1000 avionics and takes a little bit to get used too, but awesome.

Malibu has full deice and pressurized and can fly up to 25K, and I cruise at 190 knots, a few pics and the perfect plane to get in/out of Michigan which has the absolute worst weather in the entire USA from the lakes effect and icing conditions, but easy flight in and out with the Malibu and TBM.

Anyone ever consider ceramic coating. I’m leaning towards having it applied to my 112A.

I 've been reading up on it.

Think i will try it on my car first before i try it on the plane ..
i can get a local shop , do a wrap for around $3K including ceramic coating ..
