I was reading my friends flying blog, Photographic Logbook, and I saw a picture of a commander. Beneath the picture my friend made the following comment, "Definitive proof that Gary could land his Commander at Alton Bay if he set his mind to it." I guess I better practice those short and soft field landings.

Don't forget to practice landing without using the brakes.

Numerous COG members have landed at Alton Bay. I'm not one of them. Sven, Radu, I think Hopkins, and others. Years ago.

There's an FAA Wings course on Alton Bay and they've changed quite a few of the procedures this year.
