Hi Guys,
I have unfortunately had to give up flying the beautiful Commander 114, VH-UUU here in Oz and the plane has been sold. I do however continue to follow the forum for updates on what is happening in the world of Commander.
One of my other passions ( the engineer in me ) has been 3D Printing and I have owned a 3D printer for some three years. Recently I found a site - in Czechoslovakia no less - that has made designs for printing RC Model Aircraft.
Now I don't know about you guys but I would love a model of the 114.
The print designers have asked on their forum for requests for wanted model designs and I have requested of course the Commander 114.
Now I assume that in order for them to complete the design they will need some scale drawings and some basic dimensions. So of course the question is;
From that world of information that I know you guys have stored away who has some scaled drawings and dimensions that we could supply these guys to draw up the model.
The site is www.3dlabprint.com and I am sure some of you will be impressed with what they are doing.
I have just about completed printing my first plane and would love to make the commander my next one.
Anyone out there prepared to help ??
Let me know
Regards from down under
