Everyone - the COG officers reviewed the latest weather data over lunch and based upon that review have unanimously decided that the fly-in is a go!
At this point the likely track of the hurricane after landfall has it turning and moving northeastward and by Tuesday it should be centered over the Pennsylvania area. Augusta appears to be forecast to get about 2" of rain with only moderate winds and by Tuesday to be sunny (and hot!) and continue that way right through the weekend.
We recognize that there may still be members affected especially from the Northeast, but from the South, west, and northwest, travel - especially toward the latter part of the week - should be good.
I look forward to seeing everyone in Augusta!
