Yes, I am hopeful about EPS, although still will have W&B challenges for us.

Jim I saw 190-195 KTs on way home. That was with the rpm at 2100 and 14 GPH I could get use to that.

Nice work, seems that timing correction has put you back on top! And making good use of low RPM is really effective on the flow.

We need 300bhp+ turbocharged, turbonormalised or supercharged .. Preferably on jet a.

Rolls would be a great option but 1-2m range is not realistic..
Eps is to heavy and nowhere near certification?

Sma or continental is the best bet I presume.

I wish rcm / Carl Lee will sell a Turbo for the Super Commander - Super Commander HotShot with 320hp normalized. That will solle all my "problems"

Hauke,

Better ask Jim or Carl to bolt on the Continental diesel with 300hp.
That should do the trick, especially in europe.

No progress to report yet on a blower for the 580, but much other work in progress to add knots:

Clean sheet induction design.
Plenum CHT cooling.
Relocated coolers for lower drag.
Timing advance.
Raked exhaust.
Wing extensions.
Thrust angle.

All you need is Full Power and a very windy tailwind. No problem!
 
You don't need a Super Commander to go 200k. Just take it up to 10,000 ft point nose down and go like hell,When you get there say hello to the devil!

I have a 'Bitching Betty' that will 'YELL' at me at VNE . . actually she's calibrated a bit low coming on just over 165kts . . "OVERSPEED, OVERSPEED" . .
 
LOL So that's her name! I just bought an announcer for a bunch of warnings, I have yet to install it but will soon. LOL
 
Winglets on a Commander sounds intriguing, I need to think about that!
