Nuts, I was kind of looking foward to a nice little cross country next week, especially if the wx was going to be nice. Glad to hear you plane is good as new. I've got reservations for Boyne Mt in Oct and am looking foward to the flyin. If I get back from Lake Powell early enough I might come up a day early if they've got the room. See you there...

OK, there are a couple of other pilots out there that will REALLY enjoy this link as they participated in one! For others, listen to the engine during this approach... takes a lot of work to stay in position and what a rush to pull it off.

A wheels down call and lots of attention.

For those unfamiliar, flight of 3 commanders GPS into Fairbanks.
In the middle of the first approach (after IAF) they switched runways on us.
Fun? Sorta. Working hard.

Awwww, c'mon. 10 day says showers Tuesday and Friday, other days sunny. Low 60's, upper 50's.

Qualifies as perfect AK VFR, but otherwise still sounds gorgeous!!!!!

There is a definite WX change hitting the area next Monday, Bill. Chances of good/bad WX 50/50 at best with colder temps a given. Could be worse, we could be going to Georgia. Wonder if tents float??? Ken????

Yeah, we know that area will be subject to WX change. I'm hoping for good, nay, great weather. Scott guaranteed it anyway.

BTW, we got a non-floating tent but I'll bring my swimmies just in case.
