    Commander Size Comparison

To expand on this a little....First, I absolutely love my 114 and don't think I would consider selling it but what do people think is the next natural progression? I am in a bit of a smaller sampling group as I am 6'6" and a popular opinion might be a Saratoga but it is just too tight for me...

Should the Commander be an Option?

Peter, I have always loved the look and ramp appeal of the Commander and included it my list of aircraft when I was buying. l looked at and flew 8 different airplanes during that buying phase. Everything from Cirrus and Cessna to Piper's and Mooney's. I can honestly say that I am thrilled...

    Overdue for Mackinac Island Visit

I fly in there a couple of times a year. Landing is $12.50 for a single and another $12.50 for overnight. It can be quite a walk to town. Better to call the local taxi service before you take off and give them an arrival time. They will have a horse drawn carriage waiting for you. I think...

114B and 115 - crosswind control and side slip handling while landing; yawing in flight

Hi Eric, As a fairly new owner of a 114, I will give my thoughts. I have put 50+ hours on mine since May and came from Cessna's and Pipers. 1. I heard the stories about crosswind prior to purchase of mine but honestly have no concerns what so ever. I carry a little more speed and only 10...

Hi Marcos. Unfortunately it is Non-WAAS. Thought I would just move it over to the co-pilot side since no one will want it.
