    Return to Flight

“Sometimes "stuff" just happens.” It sure does! I say not too bad for being 50 years old. I wish my body parts held up as well. 😆

    Return to Flight

I did not even think about it. I know they’re waiting on the part so I can call and ask to have it done.

    Return to Flight

This is the line that leaked. The hydraulic line (8) had a brake line crossing and it obviously caused the eventual hole.

    Return to Flight

Thanks, but I still believe a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then. 😆 It was like getting punched in the face and I just needed to react, protect myself. I hope to have 3 Tango Charlie home this weekend, with an uneventful flight. 😉

    Home safe

Glad you are home safe. Driving north was bad enough but driving in Atlanta had to really stink.

    Home safe

Mary and I bugged out around 4:30 and arrived safely at home in OCMD at 3:30. An 11 hour ground pound, sure missed having a chance to fly. Both my bride and I had fun! Great meeting new people and putting faces to the screen names. We both look forward to meeting up in Florida this winter...

    Grounded!

I just got back from the orthopedic. It looks like it’s gonna be 8 to 12 weeks no hard cast yet but a sling that I have to wear at all times except in the shower and in bed. No driving and no flying and I have to go back every two weeks to make sure the bone is healing. If not, I will be off for...

    Grounded!

Monday’s adventure….. I had great plans to fly on a beautiful day. Well, I never made it out of the hangar. The handle on my tug broke loose, came out of the attachment, and I flew backwards. I did the tuck and roll to protect my right hip (revision 2009). I landed on my left wrist and broke...
