Anyone interested in a non flying 112?

I've run into lost signals as well in my area. I one specific place. I ended up radioing Memphis Control Center about it. My Ipad did not have an issue, but I was told that devices like that may not report a loss signal for a short amount of time.

    New Gear Pumps

Thank you Frank. I try to fly to Salem once a year and do eat at the airport restaurant while I’m there. Great food. As far as cleaning, I wash once a year then use furniture polish over the plane. Then when things get a bit dirty I can spray the polish again the the dirt wipes off. Right...

My 180 would due that. I had to lean out when on the ground and taxi, then riches up during run up to keep it from fouling until I installed the fine wire. Here is a chart. Lookup Lycoming’s engine type under 5/8 -24. I think it is UREM38S. I’ll look at the logs to be sure...

    Need a mentor

I’m from Tennessee and 6’’ft 6””inch 285lbs. I’ve had my 112A for about 6-7 years now and love it. My normal cruise alt on cross country is usually 8500-9500. Local would be lower. I fly almost every year over the Rockies to Salem Oregon without an issue. Careful planning over the lowest peeks...

    Hello COG

Wow.. our daughter was born in 84 and we left in 86. I was in the 17th until I moved over to Field Training. We lived on base until I bought a house just south of Wedgefield SC on Hwy 261. I remember the range very well. The A10’s used it a lot and would turn near our house. I never went...

Southeast Commander Pilots: How's the winter flying weather?

I travel usually once a year from TN to Salem Oregon for business. I haven’t had a weather problem yet, but my job lets me go on my schedule and with enough planning it is usually uneventful. Now is it economical? NO, but that’s not why I do it. I really enjoy the trip, the things I see, and...

Southeast Commander Pilots: How's the winter flying weather?
