    Vacation and gear issues

Keep in mind that when it does that it is only momentary and since the ammeter is kind of low in the panel, you may or may not catch it. I have the light and it comes on for such a short time when the gear droops that even it is hard to catch.

Yoke too small for GFC 500 switches

The yoke is the same on all years. So getting one from a new aircraft won't resolve your problem. Doing a search on the site will get you to the following thread regarding yolks. https://hoster3.commander.org/vb/for...l-yoke-upgrade

Cheaper to buy her a parachute - I wouldn't tell her that you can't get the door open in flight to use it though. You could get her together with my wife and maybe she could offer her some guidance. On second thought might not be worth taking the chance - Charyn might not want to...

Really reduces the utility of the Plane if wife unit won't fly. I am really lucky I guess - wife goes everywhere with me - (Bahamas, over water - one trip was 57hours in the air)

    Commander CFIs

I bought my Plane out of South Carolina (many years ago) but took a CFI with me and got most of my required hours out of the way on the trip home.

Should the Commander be an Option?

I guess to a large degree it depends on the value of the airplane you are looking at, but I'm paying under 2,000 a year for a million smooth. $9,000 sounds like a royal screwing and an agent trying to direct you to or from any particular plane seems beyond the scope of his position.

AOG Commander at KCEW (Bob Sikes)

Yes, when I see posts with AOG in them I try to respond as quickly as possible because I assume that somebody's in trouble. Been there done that.:(

AOG Commander at KCEW (Bob Sikes)

That would be more of a sighting - the term AOG is used when people are in a bind - on a trip (or needing to depart on one) and their plane is broken - they really need help.

Looking to upgrade/refurbish 114 interior with reclining backseats

Two suggestions for you- first update your signature with who you are, where you are and your model and serial number. Since parts for these planes are not the same for all years. Suggestion number two is to become familiar with the search function because they are numerous threads on most of...
