Re: French Lick Insights Scott---I asked before, was the broken scissors attachment on the casting repaired ( & how) or was the casting replaced? If it can be "repaired", that would be very good news. Many times the scissors bolt holes on the casting enlarge or become oval.

Re: Service Kits Did not see the aileron Hinge support replacement (SB-114-14) of May 1978. I have not seen or heard of many aircraft needing this fix. Obviously the SB was put out because there was a rash of such failing but with no AD it would be not be fleetwide. Have you seen a number of...
