    Worked as Advertised

Re: Worked as Advertised I thought there was a certification requirement that says the prop must have x ground clearance with the front tire flat and the strut bottomed?

Re: Airline Seats Actually, you CAN make this stuff up. Consider the source. The Onion is pure satire.

    A Great Time in Dayton

Re: A Great Time in Dayton I sure would have been happier in Dayton than miserable in Ann Arbor.

    Super Commander owners

Re: Super Commander owners While maintaining some semblance of forward speed. I don't climb to cruise altitude at Vy, do you? With a NA engine, there is no hurry to get 'up', like with a turbo or turbine.

    Super Commander owners

Re: Super Commander owners 1. Depends on altitude and OAT, but typical in the 'happy' cruise altitudes of 8-12K is 157 KTS LOP, sorry I never operate ROP but I guess it would be 4 KTS faster. 2. Again, depends very much on OAT, but standard day 2000 ft/min initial if you want to raise the...

Potentially a Big Deal (Shell 100 No Lead)

Re: Potentially a Big Deal (Shell 100 No Lead) Glenn, Shell has been working on this for 10 years. Time for Breakfast?

About time for a NY/NJ area breakfast meetup? I had a nice chat with a NY center controller on the way home last night who has a 112 on LI, who said he is a COG member but doesn't check the forums much. Does anyone know him? From the owners map, I would guess it's Brian McCann?
