Dustin Hot Springs is a great place to fly into. My wife and I flew in last year for the first time. Great airport too. All you got to do to get a good shot at getting a Hot Springs fly in is to volunteer to put it on! Sante Fe is great too, and is not hard to fly into for NA airplanes.

Let's get this out of the way - yes they are slower than a Bonanza. But.... 1. They were designed for full size pilots and not midgets (nothing wrong with being a midget though). You can fly the airplane without touching your co-pilot. This is very important in this day of social distancing...

Bottom line - the AC11 airframe is the largest SEL low wing airplane that I know of. Plus, it has a pilot's side door to make entry very easy. That being said, the Cessna 206T and the 210's (no longer produced), would be the high wing equivalent - extremely roomy and even easier entry / exit...

Good video (as usual). I have started using oxygen at lower altitudes as well. 10,000 MSL for sure and even sometimes on long flights slightly lower. It makes me feel better and keeps my oxygen level at close to 99.

I let a friend of mine keep his V35 Bonanza in my hanger. His airplane looks like a juvenile airplane next to mine.

And just to be clear....I do NOT recommend buying an airplane sight unseen and without ever having even seen one in person before. I got very lucky. I used to do things like that years ago when I was younger. I think that was 3 years ago.

I get that, but if you do the math for how many airplanes they sell each year and estimate what their GPM might be, I don't see how they cash flow. And I think that is precisely why they are now owned by the Chinese as are Commander and Mooney. The numbers just don't generate much of an EBITDA...
