Mary and I decided we needed to get-away. I had been following weather like all pilots do and found a window of opportunity between 3/20 and 3/25. I made a few calls to lock in a hotel room, rental car, and hangar space for our Commander. BLOG POST & VIDEOS

We left this morning around 9:30. Six hours fly time with a quick gas and go at Mount Pleasant SC (KLRO). It was a terrible ride north, rodeo time until north of the Chesapeake Bay.

Flight line guys sent me this since we are in Vero beach this week.

Heading to Vero beach. Any recommendation on which FBO to use? Anything special to know before flying in beside NOTAM’s. Must go to places to eat or see?

The Beech Aero Club locked in Palm Springs CA for September 29 - October 2nd so we will be out west with our Commander. Mary and I are excited to hear where COG has planned. This could turn into one heck of a month to six weeks in the air visiting the south and west. :)
