Meeting the Pilots of the MSP

AugustaWestland AW139 Mary and I stopped to see one the Maryland State Police (MSP) helicopters on display at the Ocean Pines Fire Department. Vero Beach get=away

Mary and I decided we needed to get-away. I had been following weather like all pilots do and found a window of opportunity between 3/20 and 3/25. I made a few calls to lock in a hotel room, rental car, and hangar space for our Commander. BLOG POST & VIDEOS

    KVRB Vero Beach Questions

We left this morning around 9:30. Six hours fly time with a quick gas and go at Mount Pleasant SC (KLRO). It was a terrible ride north, rodeo time until north of the Chesapeake Bay.

    2022 Fly-In?

Ahhhhh......but not to be herded like cattle, have to wear a mask, and with all my metal parts get the full body search every time, I'll pay the extra. ;) Mary and I plan on a few stops along the way to spend a few days here and there. Getting back to Waco is a must and catching up with a few...

    2022 Fly-In?

The Beech Aero Club locked in Palm Springs CA for September 29 - October 2nd so we will be out west with our Commander. Mary and I are excited to hear where COG has planned. This could turn into one heck of a month to six weeks in the air visiting the south and west. :)

    Today’s weather

I know you pilots in the north will get a good laugh at our local plow work. I've been trying to get 3 Tango Charlie ready to fly for a pilot and plane relocate mission this afternoon. Currently 300 overcast here at the beach so I'm going to scrub until next week. I would have done the mission...

    2022 Fly-In?

Palm Springs wound be sweet. I’ll be out there in September for the Beech Aero Club annual event. How nice to double up with COG if it’s in the same general area. Looking forward to planning our trip west.
