  • Hi Jim!

Hope all is well! What's the current price for a superstream conversion on a late 114?
I would fly the plane to you

    Thank you!

Did the New Gear Pumps ever get done?
I think mine is leaking threw the check valve inside the pump, Not the one outside the gear pump. If there isn't a new pump available can you tell me where to have it done?

    Thanks,
    Les Guiher

Quality of work is always changing at the various shops that will do them.
Our favorite no longer does them due to lack of parts for proper job.
Your best bet is to post on the Forum for recent experiences.
    hi.

    PMing you.

My MX shop cant take me for 3 weeks.
I don't want to risk another A&P tackling this.

Any chance you can take me in on a day this week - i can make a day trip of it.

I can call in on Monday to see if you can pull it off. Otherwise i can source just the part kits from you

    thx

Very sorry but it would be this Fall after the fly-in that I could get you in. We are booked solid.
Jim, I am getting ready to replace my drag link pin with a solid one and could use any advice/instruction you may have.

    Thanks, Chip
Looking for fuel cap O-ring black rubber grommets. These fit into the gas cap openings and seal the gas caps from leaking. Need two, one for each wing tank. Also need the Dzus fasteners to fit the gas caps (quantity 2). Lastly can the gas tank flapper springs (these springs fit below the gas cap on the internal flapper) be bought anywhere? Mine are quite rusted and I would guess before long one will give out. Would appreciate any help that could be offered for these parts. Thanks in advance to anyone interested in helping!
Jim, I bought the gear bumper kit and noticed it stated it was for "main gear". I don't see bumpers on my main gear. I do need to replace both nose gear bumpers. Are these the correct ones?

    Hi Jim
Quite some time ago I was close to purchased a 3 blade prop for my 114 and had to cancel due to a torque assembly replacement that showed up. Ar you still in the business of selling 3 bladers?
    Best Regards
    Philip
Jim, just had a prop strike on our 1974 112, need to purchase a new 3 blade prop and was thinking we should upgrade the engine at the same time. Any recommendations. Have the IO 360 willing to upgrade with the best performance engine.. So far only found STC for the 390 or turbo the existing 360. Would love to have the turbo advantage. Thoughts ????

I am a new owner and member in Charleston, SC. I sent you an email with a couple questions. I am also a franchisee of Bruegger's Bagel's headquartered in Burlington. i look forward to meeting in the near future. Dan Krueger

Sent you a message few days back I would like to purchase a spar for the pilot side from Aerodyne. Other than the tail# 1262J and it is a 112 what else would you need. Do you have a number I should call to place this order.

Hi it is Keith again. If we have to disassemble the rear control surfaces for the ad it seems like the right time to make the mods for that "Speed Mod" I have been reading in your threads. Can you also quote for a parts kit so our LAME can do that at the same time. If it is easier you can email me direct at Keith@commnet.com.au

Hi it's Keith Bowden "Agro" a new member from Australia. I have recently started flying a 114 that was restored to service after about 20 years sitting in a hangar. It has a total airframe time of only 490 hours , yes 490.
Now with this recently surfaced elevator AD I would be extremely surprised if our aircraft will have any cracks and if I read your reports right if we fit the STC hinges to the existing elevator spars we will comply with the AD
Can you please confirm if this is correct if we inspect and find no cracking.
I'd love to send it to you to fix but as that is a little impractical could you please quote for the parts required for our LAME to fix here in Australia.

    Regards
    Keith Bowden
