New guy

Hey everybody, I am just finishing up my PPL and have been looking at getting my own plane and have become interested in the Commander series, specifically the 114. I am a bigger guy (6'4" 265) and the 172 I train in is a bit snug, so looking for something with a bit more room, hence the Commander. I have never seen one in person and was hoping I could find someone close by to be able to look at one and maybe take a ride to see how it feels. I am just outside of OKC, so anywhere in central Oklahoma would be great.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I may be down to Tulsa in the next month-ish, so that could be an option if you don’t find someone closer.

Thanks for the replies everyone, and have been lurking here for a while and know Judi will be my first call if I decide that a Commander is in my future.

You might want to check the forward CG if others fly with you. I had to carry extra weight in the cargo area, depending on front seat pax weight.
