  • Morning Jim, I used the file and had a scoop printed a while ago but have never gotten around to having it installed and I wanted to check with you to see if you installed it, if so, how did you attach it and most importantly, how has it worked to improve your heat?
Look forward to hear from you. Happy Holidays!

Hi Jim, thanks for taking on this project and for passing along the vendor you used, I sent them the file last night and looking forward to receiving the same from them as you did. Could I ask how you intend to attach the belly vent to the aircraft? Thanks again John

I haven't gotten to that point. It will either be drilling holes in the belly for rivets/screws or maybe just the most fwd screw that holds the tunnel inplace with some strong double sized tape. My AP will be the deciding factor. Rivets going to requiring taking the back seat out etc.

Decided to use the 4 screws that hold the tunnel in place along with RTV. Seems very stable

Did you really have to spend $8000 to replace one elevator jack screw? Prebuy on mine that I'm selling discovered left one is cracked and even has a piece missing. Concern I had was finding the part but my gosh...I hope to replace one jack screw, if I can find one, isn't $8000 for the part.....

I don't recall replacing the elevator jack screw.
    Jim,
I downloaded the app but I used my company name. Advanced Automation, llc.
I did this after reading your post to put in CAVU.
    Sorry for the error.

Would love to run the app for my 112.

    Regards and thanks again.
