    Re: 112A Parts Nose gear doors can be re-skinned. Associated Aero in OKC can do some of this work, too. No new parts for older 112/A/B's available, so only salvage yard or repairs are available as options. Nose gear landing light is usually a mod for 112's with the Hot Shot turbo-normalizer...

    Re: 114 Hot Shot That's an interesting question. A 580 conversion would always have a new engine installed, so just buying the Hot Shot is not really a fair comparison. Even an overhaul at the time of HS install is still not really apples-apples.

    Re: Rcm 112 poh Frankly, I think you're over-thinking this a bit. Yes, in your example if you increase by 10 RPM you can go back to 27", but that's the case for all limits/restrictions in place for prop/MP/gear/etc. Just think of the gear speed of 130kts. At 131 it's not safe, but at 129...
