112 vs 112B
The B's are rare and exotic birds. I think there are only around 20 of them left. They have a stronger, and longer wing, better nose gear doors. better brakes, supplemental main gear doors, and 100lbs more useful load. They're basically a 112TCA, without the POS engine. Once they're turbonormalized, you end up with what a 112TCA should have been. The downside is they're heavy, and the longer wing makes them about 5 knots slower. If you spend a lot of time flying at high altitudes the longer wing, makes them more stable up high. If you live in Colorado a 112HS would be the bomb! If you fly mostly between 6 and 16K they're perfect, but only if turbonormalized.
The 112's are lighter, and faster, but have a lower useful load. All the extras that the 112B comes with can be added - at a cost. They're fine at high altitude. If you fly mostly between 3 and 12k they're great.
