Well at long last here we go! These have the same footprint as the original factory 115 wing root fairings, but have a more gentle radius. If any of you are interested in these, I'll be selling them as a “self-build” kit. They will not be available as finished parts, but as pieces that you will need to make into parts. They'll need to be trimmed, molded together, finished, and painted to match your airplane.
If this is something that you would like to tackle, you should first talk to your IA/AP to see if he will accept these if they are presented to him as owner produced parts. It might be helpful to tell him that there are no certified options, other than the ones that came with the plane when it was produced at the factory 40 years ago, or some that you might be able to dig up at a junkyard.
The main wings kit will include left and right leading edge pieces, top pieces, bottom pieces, and flap adjustment cover pieces. The horizontal stabilizer kit will include left and right leading edge pieces, top pieces, and bottom pieces.
My plan is to charge $500 for the main wing kit, and $250 for the horizontal stabilizer kit. I'd like to get a few people to commit to them, and perhaps be willing to pay in advance, so I can get an idea of how many to make. I expect to have them ready to ship by June.
Once again, I repeat, these are not finished parts, these are pieces. YOU will need to make these into parts. The part numbers for the parts you will be making these to replace are:
425004-1 L/H main wing & 425004-2 R/H main wing
435004-1 L/H horizontal stabilizer & 435004-1 L/H horizontal stabilizer
