Re: Heading to Florida
Thanks to all for your support.
Pat/Betty - while it may have flown by quickly on the web board it took quite a while when I was there

I'm glad to be home again. Heading out to the hangar to see the little girl right now.
All in all it was quite a bit of work. More so than I imagined. I kind of thought a school would "teach" everything, and they do. But nothing was spoon fed. You had to want to learn, and be active to get through it all. At least in that time frame.
All in all I took 7 checkrides in 93 days. Worked out to about 1 check ride every 13 days. It was work without a doubt.
As for my plans now... I got home at 1:30 AM on Friday. Slept a bit, got up made up resume's and business cards, and by 3:00 I was in an interview with the company I'm trying to work for. They want more time and an ATP rating, but I think I can get on with them as an SIC part time while I learn the ropes and their routes.
In the mean time, I'm going to fly as much as possible. I plan on hitting up all the people that have twins at the airport and offering my services as safety pilot for them. Technically once I have 5 hours in a multi-engine I am able to instruct in one. So the more planes I get in, the better off I'll be.
So in short, looking for a job, and will probably be hanging out at the airport everyday trying to make contacts.
