Looks like Juergen's plane to me! Given the size of the N number (unreadable), it's a very old picture.

Glad you posted it, we love Big Bend and have flown in/out of Alpine (beware DA) which is an hour from the park. However, a trip into Big Bend Ranch would be interesting too.

David is correct , this is my airplane at Big Bend State Park , pic. was taken by the Park Service last year . We have been flying into the park every year for a long weekend for at least 15x years , renting the Bid House (3x BR,2xBath,Kitchen,Living Room,Fireplace etc as well as the Bunkhouse (not sure how many bunks). Cool place , fly over the ranch (West of the Airport) , do a 360 and if you have a reservation Park Service will come and get you . We brought a Blow Up Big Screen one year and showed Apollo 13 , with Jim Lovell adding his comments , half way through the movie the Commander said "going to bed I know the end of this movie".Need to know more call or text 713 855 8988
