My name is Bill Greenberg
I was one of the original Rockwell Commander distributors (NY and NE) and every once in a while I search the FAA registry with the N numbers of all the Commanders that went through our company to see what happened to them.
Then I was reading a recent AviationWeek and saw your organization and thought I would reach out to you. It was an exciting time and a real cast of characters we were, including Bob Hoover.
There was someone who had a 112 out at our airport SFZ and I came across a A&E at the FBO who was disparaging Commanders and I had to set him straight. Not sure I succeeded but it was fun to relive the "sales pitch" after all these years.
