TN Govenor Bill Lee at KSNH

Gov Bill Lee was scheduled to come down and see the flood damage when the Tennesee river overflowed its banks. A press conference scheduled at the airport so the FBO manager asked to use the plane as a backdrop. I went out, cleaned it up and put in their big hanger. I asked why he wanted my plane as its not the best the best paint or newest on the field?
He said, the commanders just show good!

They do look good. I have noticed more ramp appeal than with the average zessna or Piper.

Re: TN Govenor Bill Lee at KSNH

especially with that blacked out rear window.... very modern looking

Good eye Allen. Noted the 90' auto window trim too.Very cool Michael!! And since I am still flying one, like your positioning of your two bladed prop= Horizontal!

Re: TN Govenor Bill Lee at KSNH

Thanks, but the people around the airport still talk about all the Commanders that showed up during my cookout one year and how good they looked. I may be biased, but they do have good stage presents. :)

Re: TN Govenor Bill Lee at KSNH

and your Commander looks like it's flying sitting on the ground.
kool, Michael.

Mike, any chance you’ll do another cookout someday?

It’s up in the air right now. With my medical issues last year and all this rain we have had I am way behind. It my happen later, but right now I can’t do it.

Looking good.
