Ever have one of those threads that you go back and re-read and go, ‘No way I wrote that’?
Q: Is there any means to edit a thread entry after it has been posted?

I think the time-out for edits is 10 minutes. After that, it's committed to the interweb forever!

I believe they recently upped it to 30 minutes.

I think that needs to be upped to two hours because according to what Ive read, it takes at least two hours for the body to rid it self of one drink. I find the posts I wish to edit are usually associated with when I am drinking beer so it will take me that long to figure out I messed it up.

I can't use that excuse, my problem is trying to sneak in a quick comment while at work (desk job) . . . Hey, they gave me two monitors . . .

I would agree with that thought. I bet there is a lot of things said, that when re-read people wish they could take back.

I'll drink to that! While we're fixing that, how bout time before the server kicks you off when idle (i.e. researching what you read and then going to another website page or two while preparing your response....

Craig - it's 15 minutes right now but if you've ticked the 'Remember Me' checkbox at login you should remain logged in.

I'll bump it up to an hour anyway.

Thanks Glenn, I knew there had to be a trick since the Iphone doesn't boot me. An hour will be plenty.
